Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, evidence-based form of brain training designed to help the brain regulate itself more effectively. Unlike medication, neurofeedback does not force change. Instead, it gently guides the brain to recognize and reinforce healthier patterns of functioning, much like physical therapy for the brain.

The Othmer Method is one of the most refined and widely used neurofeedback approaches today. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all protocol, this method identifies each client’s Optimal Response Frequency (ORF) – the specific training frequency where the brain responds most positively. Instead of targeting a diagnosis directly, the method focuses on improving the brain’s ability to self-regulate. The system continuously adapts based on how the brain responds in session, making the process safe, responsive, and comfortable.

Sessions typically last 30 – 45 minutes. During training, sensors are placed on the scalp to monitor brainwave activity. Clients may watch a movie or listen to music while the system provides real-time feedback. Most individuals begin noticing subtle changes within the first several sessions, with continued improvement over time.
